1/48 Avro Anson Mk.I one-sided express mask, self-adhesive and pre-cutted for Airfix
ASK masks in a one-sided self-adhesive Express version, made for the Airfix Avro Anson Mk.I in 1/48 scale. Over a hundred numbered masks cover the outside of the cockpit glazing and fuselage windows, plus wheel masks.
ASK designed these masks itself, targeting the clear parts of the Airfix Avro Anson Mk.I kit in 1/48 scale. One-sided set ASK 200-M48112 from the SCALE MASK range has a long sheet with masks numbered up to 108 for the outer side of the clear parts and a WHEELS section with wheel masks (D15, D30–D33). The extent of the set reflects the glazed cockpit and the long row of windows along the Anson's fuselage sides. The double-sided version is 200-M48113.
The Avro Anson was a British twin-engined multi-role aircraft. It entered RAF service in 1936 with Coastal Command as a maritime reconnaissance aircraft and later served mainly for aircrew training. The masks are shaped for the Airfix plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
