Hobby Boss 1/48 F-80C Shooting Star is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The F-80C belongs to the early American straight-wing jet fighters. A slender fuselage and side intakes represent the transitional generation between wartime piston aircraft and later swept-wing fighters.
Seven plastic sprues are supplemented by a photo-etched seat-belt fret. It provides thin metal elements for the seat alongside the plastic cockpit fittings. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
