1/48 P-39 Airacobra Exhaust Nozzles
Hobby 2000 1/48 P-39 Airacobra Exhaust Nozzles 3D-print is an additional set of highly detailed 3D printed exhaust nozzles for Bell P-39 Airacobra 1:48 scale kit. It replaces the standard plastic parts with a more accurate and detailed version. Package does not include paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter aircraft with an unusual design - engine mounted behind the pilot and armament concentrated in the nose, including a 37mm cannon. Although it was not very successful in American service due to problems at high altitudes, it became a very popular low- and medium-altitude machine in the Soviet Air Force, where it excelled in supporting ground troops and in combat against ground targets.
This accessory set from Hobby 2000 includes exhaust nozzles made using 3D printing technology, which allows a significantly higher level of detail than standard injection moulded plastic parts. The nozzles capture the fine edges, precise shape and surface texture of real exhausts, greatly enhancing the realism of the finished model. The set is designed for 1:48 scale P-39 Airacobra kits and directly replaces the original parts. Installation requires normal modelling skills - removal of original parts, sanding and gluing of new components. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
