The TBF-3/TBM-3 Avenger Paddle Blade Propeller Correction Set 1/48 for Accurate/Academy kits is a 1/48-scale resin accessory set from CMK. One of the few flaws in the TBF-3 Avenger model (based on Accurate Miniatures molds)—though unfortunately a visible one—is the propeller with narrow blades, which corresponds to the older TBF-1 version.

One of the few—but unfortunately noticeable—errors in the TBF-3 Avenger model (based on Accurate Miniatures molds) is the propeller with narrow blades, which corresponds to the older TBF-1 version. The Dash Three had wide, paddle-shaped propeller blades. You can easily correct this flaw by using our set. It includes the correct propeller blades as well as a new hub with finer details than those provided in the kit.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Before assembly, degrease and clean the part, and perform a dry fit
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
