Aires 4962 are resin pilot and co-pilot seats for the Westland Wessex helicopter in 1/48 scale, complemented by photo-etched belts. For the Italeri and Academy kits.
The set suits the HAS.3 (late), HC.2, HAR.2 and HU.5 versions. It contains resin seats, a casting with small parts and a photo-etched fret with seatbelts and further details.
The Westland Wessex was a British turbine-powered helicopter derived from the Sikorsky S-58. It served with the Royal Navy in the anti-submarine and commando roles and with the RAF as a transport and rescue machine. The glazed cockpit is easy to see on a 1/48 model; the Italeri/Academy kit is not included.
