1/72 Stryker M1130 CV & CV-TACP 1+1

The Stryker family of vehicles, developed from the Canadian LAV III armoured personnel carrier, has been introduced into the US Army's arsenal since the early 21st century. These eight-track armoured vehicles have become the basis for a range of specialised variants that include transporters, reconnaissance vehicles, artillery systems and command posts. With their high mobility, good ballistic protection and modular design, Strykers have proven themselves in deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and other modern conflicts.

The M1130 CV (Command Vehicle) version serves as a mobile command centre, equipped with communications and operations coordination equipment. The M1130 CV-TACP variant is designed specifically for Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) operations, which provide direct communications between ground forces and the Air Force. Both vehicles form a key element of command and control within the Stryker Brigades, enabling effective liaison between ground and air forces.

The 1/72nd scale Border Model kit includes two complete models - the Stryker M1130 CV and the CV-TACP. It offers detailed treatment of the exterior and distinctive equipment features, while providing the opportunity to create an authentic pair of vehicles in a compact scale that demonstrates the variability and modern character of the US armored forces.

The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
