AMMO ATOM Thinner and Cleaner with Retarder (20 ml) is designed for ATOM water-based acrylic paints. In addition to thinning and cleaning, it contains a retarder that extends the paint’s open time. This aids in fine spraying, dry or hot application, and smooth shading with a brush.
How to Use
- Airbrush: Add gradually depending on the nozzle and pressure. The delayed drying reduces the buildup of dried paint at the tip of the needle and facilitates fine lines and soft transitions.
- Brush: A small amount extends the blending time and helps the paint level out more evenly without noticeable brushstrokes.
- Cleaning: Remove fresh acrylic paint residue from the airbrush and brushes immediately after use.
This product is optimized for the AMMO ATOM series. The retarder prolongs drying time, so it is best to apply thin layers and add another layer only after the previous one has dried sufficiently. For faster routine work, use the version without a retarder.
