1/120 Culemeyer four axles resin construction kit of german heavy trailer
Hauler HTT120082 is a resin kit of the four-axle Culemeyer road trailer in 1/120 (TT) scale. A photo-etched fret is included.
Named after their designer Johann Culemeyer, these road trailers were introduced by the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the 1930s. They allowed railway wagons to be carried by road to customers without a rail siding. Heavy tractors such as the Kaelble hauled them, and in various forms they stayed in service with the German railways long after the war.
The Hauler HTT120082 kit reproduces the four-axle version in the railway scale of 1/120 (TT). It contains resin parts for the frame, axles and wheels plus a photo-etched fret with fine detail. On a TT layout or in a diorama the trailer can carry a real wagon model.
This resin kit with many small parts is aimed at the more experienced modeller.
Nationality: Germany. Period: Interwar period, World War II, Cold War.
