Trumpeter 1/144 Kilo Type 636 represents a Russian diesel-electric attack submarine of the Kilo class. The manufacturer identifies the depicted version as Type 636. Its full hull allows the underwater section and propeller to be shown on the display stand, rather than hidden as they would be in a surface-water scene.
Edition 05903 contains 53 plastic parts, three sprues and a separate upper hull section. These are accompanied by sail and retractable mast parts, a display stand and instructions. The finished length is 511.5 mm: despite the relatively modest parts count, the submarine is over half a metre long, so check the available display space before assembly. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Russia. Period: Modern.
