1/24 Bf 109G-5 / G-6 double-sided express fit masks for Airfix
ASK masks 1/24 Bf 109G-5 / G-6 Express Fit for the Airfix plastic kit are double-sided. Two sheets cover the cockpit glazing, including the windscreen and rear window, inside and out.
ASK developed the shape of the masks itself, directly from the parts of the Airfix kit in 1/24 scale. Set ASK 200-M24009 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets with masks numbered up to 40. It includes masks for the windscreen panels, the hinged canopy with its individual panes, the rear glazing and smaller clear parts, while the second sheet is intended for the inner side of the frames.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was the most numerous version of the Bf 109 fighter, and the G-5 differed from it by its pressurised cockpit. The mask shapes match the clear parts of the Airfix kit in 1/24 scale.
