Trumpeter 1/24 Hurricane Mk.IIC/Trop depicts the British fighter with a four-cannon wing and tropical filter beneath the nose. The armament and prominent filter distinguish this version from early Hurricanes and give the model its characteristic appearance.
Release 02416 includes 233 parts on 13 sprues, a photo-etched fret and instrument-panel film. The detailed engine is a notable part of the package. Colour schemes are provided for 1942 and 1944 subjects. At 408 mm long with a 508 mm wingspan, the completed aircraft needs substantial display space. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: United Kingdom. Period: World War II.
