The Eduard Bf 108 Steel Retaining Straps 1/32 is a photo-etched detail set in 1/32 scale for the EDUARD model kit. The set is designed to replace the retaining straps in the cockpit with fine metal parts. It is dimensionally designed for the specified kit; compatibility with other kits is not guaranteed.
The fine metal parts replace or supplement selected plastic details that cannot be accurately reproduced with the same thickness and sharpness using standard injection molding.
Working with photo-etched parts
- Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface
- Bend the parts according to the instructions and test-fit everything before gluing
- Glue the metal parts with a thin layer of cyanoacrylate adhesive
- Before painting, degrease unpainted parts and apply a primer for metal
The plastic model kit is not included in the package. To complete the model, select suitable model glue and paints.
