ASK 1/32 Lewis Mk.III: two 3D-printed Lewis aircraft machine guns for British and Allied WWI aircraft. Drum magazines are printed on the carrier together with the guns.
This 1/32 ASK set contains two Lewis Mk.III guns with drum magazines, printed on a common carrier marked Lewis Mk.III. It captures the slender barrel with sights, the receiver, grip and trigger mechanism at a level of detail that standard plastic parts cannot match.
The Lewis Mk.III was an aircraft version of the Lewis light machine gun introduced in 1918, with a higher rate of fire and no barrel shroud. British and Allied air services used aircraft Lewis guns as flexible observer's weapons and as fixed guns above the upper wing of fighters. Extra magazines in two versions are available separately from ASK (200-A32013).
