1/32 Macchi MC.202 Folgore one-sided express fit mask for Italeri
ASK Express Fit masks for the Macchi MC.202 Folgore in 1/32 scale, one-sided and intended for the Italeri plastic kit. They cover the outer side of the cockpit panes and include circular wheel masks.
The ASK masks are an in-house construction, designed directly on the canopy panes and wheels of the Italeri Macchi MC.202 Folgore kit in 1/32 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M32077 from the SCALE MASK range carries masks 1–16. Rectangular masks 6–12 belong to the individual canopy panes, small shaped masks 4, 5 and 14 to smaller clear parts. The lower part of the sheet holds circular wheel masks – four larger (15) and two smaller (16). The double-sided version is 200-M32078.
The Macchi MC.202 Folgore combined the MC.200 airframe with a licence-built Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine. From 1941 it fought in North Africa, over Malta and on the Eastern Front and ranked among the best fighters of the Italian air force. The masks fit the Italeri kit in 1/32 scale.
