    Brand: Art Scale

ASK 1/32 MiG-21F, MF Fishbed / CF-121 Redhawk program is a decal set for three fictional ("what-if") MiG-21s in Canadian markings, inspired by an April Fools' story about the CF-121 Redhawk programme.

This 1/32 ASK sheet provides MiG-21Fs 59-315 and 59-328 and MiG-21MF 59-322 designated CF-121 "Stratocaster" of 441 Squadron RCAF at Cold Lake, Alberta (1960 according to the sheet). The aircraft feature a chequered fin, ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE titles and Canadian maple leaf roundels; 59-328 has a full-length fuselage stripe.

Canada never operated the MiG-21 – the story of a secret MiG purchase to replace the cancelled Avro Arrow was published as an April Fools' joke. The sheet is therefore aimed at modellers who enjoy unusual "what-if" schemes. Part 2 (200-D32077) continues with MiGs of the US 4477th squadron. The 1/32 MiG-21 plastic kit is sold separately.

If necessary, the decal carrier varnish can be removed by washing it off with Zippo lighter fluid.
