1/35 7TP Polish Tank -Twin Turret (Early Production) - IBG
IBG 1/35 7TP Polish Tank - Twin Turret (Early Production) is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of a WWII Polish light tank. The early variant with twin turrets armed with machine guns was built in the mid 1930s and represented one of the first modern armoured designs of the Polish army.
The 7TP light tank was developed in Poland on the basis of the British Vickers 6-Ton and became the main type of armoured equipment of the Polish Army on the eve of World War II. An early version with twin turrets, referred to as the Twin Turret, was designed primarily for infantry support and armed with a pair of machine guns. Although this variant proved less effective against armoured targets, it was an important step in development and was used for training and on the front lines during September 1939.
The 7TP tank was a modern design for its time, with a diesel engine and thicker armour than the original British model. Its later version, with gun armament, already represented a full-fledged opponent to the German machines of the time.
The 1/35th scale IBG kit offers a detailed model of the early twin-tower variant. It features fine surface details, authentic proportions and parts matching period patterns. The model is suitable for all those interested in Polish armoured vehicles and the first phase of World War II.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
