1/35 AH-1W double-sided express fit painting mask for Academy
ASK masks for the Academy AH-1W SuperCobra kit in 1/35 scale – double-sided and in the Express Fit format. Two sheets of strip masks cover the tandem cockpit frames inside and out.
The set is ASK's own design, made to fit the parts of the Academy AH-1W SuperCobra kit in 1/35 scale. Set ASK 200-M35021 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The first carries masks 1–21 for the outer side – mostly angled strips along the frames of the individual canopy panels plus the smaller rectangular masks 20 and 21. The second sheet, with masks 22–39, repeats the shapes for the inner side and adds rectangular masks 30 and 31. The one-sided version is 200-M35022.
The AH-1W SuperCobra is the twin-engined version of the Cobra attack helicopter for the US Marine Corps. It is powered by two General Electric T700 turboshafts, and deliveries began in March 1986. The masks are intended for the Academy kit in 1/35 scale.
