1/35 AH-6J/MH-6J Little Bird Nightstalkers
The 1/35th scale model of the AH-6J/MH-6J "Little Bird" Nightstalkers by Kitty Hawk is a detailed 1/35th scale modeldetail of a light multi-purpose helicopter that is widely used by the elite 160. Air Force Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) known as the "Night Stalkers". This version allows the construction of an attack variant of the AH-6J or a transport MH-6J, used for special forces infiltration. The kit features precision crafted plastic parts, detailed interior, realistic engine compartment and a wide selection of armament. Operator and pilot figures are also included. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The AH-6J/MH-6J "Little Bird" is a light multi-role helicopter developed from the McDonnell Douglas MD 500, adapted for special operations by the US 160 elite units. SOAR ("Night Stalkers"). This helicopter features excellent maneuverability, compact size and the ability to operate day and night, making it an ideal machine for special forces infiltration, reconnaissance and direct air support.
The AH-6J version is armed with M134 Minigun machine guns, Hydra 70 rocket launchers and other weaponry, while the MH-6J is equipped with external troop-carrying platforms. The helicopter has been deployed extensively in conflicts such as Operation Gothic Serpent in Somalia in 1993, where it came to prominence during the Battle of Mogadishu.
