1/35 British Flimsy late canisters - 3D print

This Detail Print set contains twelve late-pattern cans made by 3D printing. The manufacturer describes them as British fuel cans that earned the nickname flimsy for their light construction.

The thin-walled four-gallon flimsies were used by the British Army in the Second World War and became notorious in the North African campaign, where their fragility saw them gradually replaced by sturdier jerrycans. In 1/35 scale they serve as stowage on British vehicles, supplies at a field base or a pile of empties in a desert scene.
