Throughout World War II, the German Army used various improvised means to maintain supplies and care for troops even in difficult terrain. One such example was the conversion of an RSO (Raupenschlepper Ost) light tracked tractor into a mobile field kitchen. This field kitchen, mounted on the chassis of the RSO vehicle, enabled the provision of hot food even on the front lineon the front lines in difficult terrain and adverse conditions, especially on the eastern front.
MiniArt presents this interesting RSO variant in a high quality kit that includes an elaborate chassis and cab as well as detailed model of a field kitchen with cooking facilities, chimneys, vessels and other realistic accessories. The model is ideal for dioramas depicting the daily life of German troops outside the battle line.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
