The German 3T 4×4 Cargo Truck 3.6-6700A was one of the typical utility lorries on which the Wehrmacht’s land logistics relied. Vehicles of this class formed the backbone of the supply chain — they transported ammunition, fuel, provisions, spare parts and troops, and kept units combat-ready at a time when the pace of operations was determined by the ability to resupply the front line rapidly. Four-wheel drive (4×4) improved off-road capability, which was crucial on the muddy and unpaved roads of both the Eastern and Western Fronts. The early production version differed from later models in the design of certain details, making it an interesting and specifically identifiable subject for modellers.
