ASK created this set specifically for the Border Model Spitfire Mk.Vb kit in 1/35 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M35017 from the SCALE MASK range holds masks 1–14: the single mask 1, angled strips 2–11 along the frames of the windscreen and canopy, rectangular masks 12 and 13 and small circular masks 14. Circular masks run along the top edge of the sheet. The double-sided version is 200-M35018.

The Spitfire Mk.Vb with the cannon-armed B wing carried two 20 mm Hispano cannon and four machine guns and was one of the main versions of the RAF fighter in 1941–1942. The unusual 1/35 scale, typical for military vehicles, lets the aircraft stand alongside vehicles and figures. The masks are shaped for the Border Model kit.
