Italeri 1/35 T-34/85 Zavod 112 Mod. 1944 is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the famous Soviet medium tank. Variant from 1944, produced by Zavod factory no. 112, was one of the most widespread versions of this iconic machine, which became a symbol of the Red Army's victory in World War II. The model offers a realistic treatment of the hull, turret and running gear.
The T-34/85 was created as a direct response to the German Tiger and Panther tanks, which in 1943 outclassed the original T-34/76 in both firepower and armour. The new version received a more spacious turret with a more powerful 85mm ZiS-S-53 gun, which greatly increased its combat effectiveness. Production began at several plants, with the Zavod No. 112 "Krasnoye Sormovo" plant being one of the most important producers. Its machines were characterized by distinctive details such as a one-piece turret with a thicker casting surface and a typical rear hull arrangement.
