1/35 US 155mm howitzer M1918 - Das Werk
Das Werk 1/35 US 155mm howitzer M1918 is a model of the American WWI heavy howitzer, which was also used in the interwar period and during WWII. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The M1918 155mm howitzer was an American version of the French Canon de 155 C modèle 1917 Schneider gun, which the United States adopted and modified during World War I. The howitzer was characterized by its short barrel and sturdy breech, allowing for strong fire support at shorter ranges. Due to its reliability and effectiveness, it remained in service during World War II, where it was used primarily for training, but also in combat, especially with reserve units or in coastal defense.
This 1/35th scale kit from Das Werk offers a precisely detailed model of this historic weapon with a realistically modelled barrel, wheels, breech and other mechanical elements. The detailed construction allows the howitzer to be assembled in the fired or transport position. Due to its technical and historical value, the model is an ideal complement to dioramas from the First or Second World War, with both American and Allied troops.
A great choice for modelers focused on 20th century artillery and historical weapons.
Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
