ICM 1/35 WWI Russian Infantry is a set of four WWI Russian Infantry figures in 1/35 scale. The figures depict infantrymen of the Tsar's army with typical uniforms and armament, suitable for stand-alone display or to complement dioramas.
The Russian infantry played a vital role on the Eastern Front during the First World War. The Tsarist army deployed millions of soldiers to fight in difficult conditions and heavy clashes with German and Austro-Hungarian troops. The uniforms of the Russian infantrymen were characterised by simplicity, practical colours and distinctive equipment, which gradually evolved during the war. Armament consisted mainly of Mosin-Nagant repeating rifles and standard field equipment.
This 1/35th scale ICM set contains over 170 parts to build four Russian soldiers from the First World War. The figures are crafted with attention to detail in uniforms, equipment and armor, allowing for a realistic battlefield scene on the Eastern Front. Thanks to their elaborate design, they are suitable for both stand-alone display and for complementing dioramas with period equipment.
The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
