Hobby Boss 1/350 Type IXC U-Boat is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. Type IXC developed the ocean-going IXB with increased fuel capacity for longer patrols. It omitted the control-room periscope of earlier versions and retained two in the sail. This kit represents the IXC version of the Kriegsmarine long-range submarine family.
The box contains 28 plastic and 15 photo-etched parts. Separate upper and lower hull sections form the model, while metal details provide the railings and stand. The fine etched pieces require careful removal and shaping. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Germany. Period: World War II.
