1/350 DKM Navy Type VII-A U-Boat

Hobby Boss 1/350 Type VIIA U-Boat is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. Type VIIA was the first version of the German Type VII submarine family. The prototype carried four bow torpedo tubes, one stern tube and an 88 mm deck gun. This is the early form of the family, distinct from the later Type VIIC.

The kit combines plastic components with photo-etched parts for the railings and stand. The hull has separate upper and lower sections; the fine metal parts require removal from the fret and careful bending. The finished model is approximately 184 mm long. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
