Hobby Boss 1/350 German Type 212 Submarine is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. The German Type 212 is a modern attack submarine with conventional propulsion supplemented by an air-independent system. Its distinctive stern has X-arranged control surfaces. Decals provide S181, S182, S183 and S184 for a choice of one submarine.
Over 20 parts include upper and lower full-hull halves, a sprue with sail, periscopes and stern surfaces, and a stand. Plastic propellers have alternatives on the photo-etched fret, which also provides the nameplate. The decal sheet supplies German flags and identification numbers. Finished length is approximately 163.4 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
