1/350 U.S.CV-9 Essex

Trumpeter 1/350 USS Essex CV-9 1943 represents the ship in the configuration associated by the manufacturer with the Marcus Island raid on 31 August 1943. The choice of a lower hull or waterline plate allows either a standalone ship display or a water scene.

The kit contains 610 parts, 21 sprues and separate major hull and deck sections. Hangar decks complement the flight deck, and smaller components include carrier aircraft sprues. Photo-etched parts and a display stand are supplied. At 775 mm long and 125 mm wide, the model needs a planned workspace and display location. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
