Hobby Boss 1/350 USS Iowa BB-61 is a plastic kit of a ship for assembly. This Iowa battleship depicts a World War II configuration with three triple main-battery turrets, extensive anti-aircraft armament and stern aviation facilities. Two OS2U floatplanes complement the catapults and crane.
Over 1500 parts are supplied on twenty sprues and as separate hull, deck and stand sections. Planking is represented on the plastic deck. Metal barrels and an anchor chain are complemented by etched railings, radar antennas and fine catapult and crane parts. The aircraft are moulded in clear plastic. Model length is approximately 773 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
