1/350 USS Langley AV-3
Trumpeter 1/350 USS Langley AV-3 is a plastic kit of the seaplane tender converted from carrier CV-1. A shortened raised deck is complemented by handling areas and cranes. Six P2Y flying boats in clear plastic are included. Photo-etched parts, metal anchor chain and a stand complement the full hull. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.

Trumpeter 1/350 USS Langley AV-3 depicts the US ship as a seaplane tender following conversion from the first American aircraft carrier. A shortened deck and open forward handling area distinguish this configuration. Its silhouette and function differ from the original CV-1 as well as its designation.
Release 05632 contains over 540 parts, a full hull and display stand. Six clear P2Y flying boats are accompanied by ship and aircraft decals; the colour guide shows yellow-wing P2Ys. Photo-etched parts provide railings, girders and crane structures, with metal anchor chain also supplied. At 475.3 mm long, the ship offers a naval aviation subject with a distinctive working deck. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
