1/48 Aichi D3A1 Val seat belts - 3D printed decals by ASK
ASK 1/48 Aichi D3A1 Val are pilot and gunner seat belts in the form of 3D printed decals. The belts come fully coloured, in an orange-brown shade with perforations and metal buckles.
The set covers both positions of the two-seater: four parts for the pilot's seat and two for the gunner's seat. The straps are 3D printed in relief and in colour – orange-brown with rows of holes, light pads and metal-coloured buckles. No painting is needed, and they look three-dimensional in the cockpit.
The Aichi D3A, codenamed Val by the Allies, was a carrier-based dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The D3A1 version took part in the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and in the Pacific fighting that followed. The set is in 1/48 scale for D3A1 kits in that scale.
