1/48 Baltimore Mk.II Armament Set for SH kit

The Martin Baltimore was a twin-engine light bomber of American design which, during the Second World War, served primarily with the RAF and other Allied air forces, particularly in the Mediterranean. It was a successor to the earlier Martin Maryland and featured a more powerful engine and heavier defensive armament. The Mk.II version was one of the early production variants and was characterised by reinforced defensive armament in the rear hemispherical section, which this add-on set is specifically designed for.

This Armament Set from Special Hobby is designed for the company’s Baltimore Mk.II kit and focuses on refining the defensive armament. It contains twin machine guns for the upper and lower gun stations – the weapons that protected the rear hemisphere of the aircraft. The set is produced using modern 3D printing technology and supplemented with photo-etched parts, enabling a fine and accurate rendering of details that cannot always be easily achieved using conventional injection moulding.

This add-on is designed for a specific Special Hobby kit and serves to enhance its level of detail; it is not a standalone model. Paints and adhesives are not included in the pack.
