Blenheim Mk.I Engine Intakes is a 1/48-scale Quick & Easy resin accessory set from CMK.
The Mercure engines that powered the Blenheim aircraft are characterized by air intakes located between the engine cylinders. We offer castings of both types of intakes: smooth ones and those with funnel-shaped inlets. We’ve also included air intakes on the underside of the engine cowlings. These are cast as a single piece. They replace the original parts from the kit, which aren’t as detailed and, moreover, must be glued together from two halves and filled with putty.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Before assembly, degrease, clean, and dry-fit the part
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
