1/48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.I double-sided express fit mask for ICM
ASK masks in a double-sided Express Fit version, made for the ICM Bristol Beaufort Mk.I in 1/48 scale. Two sheets cover the cockpit and nose glazing and other clear parts inside and out.
The set is ASK's own design, engineered for one specific kit – the ICM Bristol Beaufort Mk.I in 1/48 scale. Set ASK 200-M48170 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The first matches the one-sided version 200-M48169: masks for the individual panes, triangular masks with a cut-out, curved strips and ring masks 60. The second sheet, with masks numbered above 60, is meant for the inner side, so the frames stay clean even when looking into the glazed nose.
The Beaufort served with the RAF as a Coastal Command torpedo bomber. In April 1941 Kenneth Campbell used one to torpedo the battleship Gneisenau in Brest harbour and was awarded a posthumous Victoria Cross. The masks are intended for the ICM Beaufort Mk.I kit in 1/48 scale.
