1/48 De Havilland Chipmunk T.20 one-sided express fit mask for Airfix
ASK mask in a one-sided Express Fit version, made for the Airfix de Havilland Chipmunk T.20 in 1/48 scale. It covers the cockpit glazing from the outside; the WHEELS section has wheel masks, CLEAR PARTS small masks.
This set is ASK's own design, shaped to the clear parts of the Airfix de Havilland Chipmunk T.20 kit in 1/48 scale. The sheet of set 200-M48280 from the SCALE MASK range carries shaped masks 1–12 for the canopy panes (masks 4, 5, 11 and 12 come in pairs). Below them are the WHEELS section with four ring-shaped wheel masks labelled C9 and C10, and the CLEAR PARTS section with small masks D7 and D8.
The DHC-1 Chipmunk was designed by the Canadian company de Havilland Canada under the Polish engineer Wsiewołod Jakimiuk; the prototype first flew on 22 May 1946 in Toronto. The trainer, with two seats in tandem under a clear canopy, replaced the Tiger Moth biplane. The double-sided version of the set is 200-M48281.
