1/48 Douglas A-4B Skyhawk
Brand: Hobby 2000

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was light, maneuverable, and easy to maintain, making it the favorite attack aircraft of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The first version flew in 1954 and became the basis for a whole family of successful airborne attack machines. The A-4B variant, introduced into service in the late 1950s, was an improvement over the original A-4A, receiving upgraded avionics, the ability to carry a wider range of armament, and increased fuel capacity.

The A-4B Skyhawk was employed in a variety of roles, including strikes against ground targets, attacks on ships, and support of ground troops. The aircraft has been exported to several countries and has also served in combat operations outside the U.S., such as during conflicts in South America and the Middle East.

The 1/48 scale Hobby 2000 kit features detailed plastic parts with fine surface engraving and decals for authentic markings. The model faithfully captures the shape and proportions of the A-4B, making it an attractive choice for modelers interested in Cold War airborne aircraft.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
