Hobby Boss 1/48 F-14A Tomcat is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The F-14A is the original production version of the two-seat carrier-based Tomcat with TF30 engines. Its characteristic variable-sweep wing allows different display configurations.
Contents include two AIM-9s, two AIM-7s, six AIM-54s and two external tanks. The cockpit, engines and undercarriage bays are detailed, and rubber tyres are supplied. The manufacturer offers optional flap positions and 22 sprues plus principal fuselage parts. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
