Hobby Boss 1/48 F-14D Super Tomcat is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The F-14D is the final Tomcat variant with F110 engines and updated avionics including the APG-71 radar. It consequently differs from the earlier F-14A in equipment and cockpit details.
Over 490 parts are supplemented by photo-etched components and rubber tyres. Armament comprises two AIM-9s, two AIM-7s and six AIM-54s, alongside two tanks. Engines, cockpit and gear bays are detailed, with optional flap positions. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
