1/48 F-86F Sabre one-sided express fit mask for Airfix
ASK mask for the Airfix F-86F Sabre in 1/48 scale, in a one-sided Express Fit version. It contains shaped masks for the cockpit glazing, narrow strips along the frames and a set of round and ring masks.
The masks are an ASK in-house design, drawn specifically for the glazing of the Airfix F-86F Sabre kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48290 from the SCALE MASK range combines the shaped masks 1–3, the long curved strips 4 and 6 along the glazing frames, the large ring masks 17 and 18 and the small round masks 15 and 16. The one-sided version covers only the outer side of the glazing.
The North American F-86F Sabre was an American jet fighter that fought in the Korean War. Compared with earlier versions it received an uprated engine and the larger “6-3” wing without leading-edge slats, which markedly improved its high-speed agility. The double-sided version for the same Airfix kit is 200-M48291.
