1/48 F/A-18F Super Hornet / EA-18G Growler double-sided express mask for Meng
ASK masks from the Express range for the Meng F/A-18F Super Hornet / EA-18G Growler plastic kits in 1/48 scale are double-sided. Frame masks cover the windscreen and two-seat canopy inside and out.
ASK drew up the set itself, targeting the parts of the Meng F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler kits in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48066 from the SCALE MASK range contains frame masks in two columns (1–6 and 7–12) that follow the outlines of the windscreen and the large canopy. The double-sided layout covers both the outer and the inner side of the frames.
The Boeing F/A-18F is the two-seat version of the US Navy’s Super Hornet carrier-based multirole aircraft. Its airframe is the basis of the EA-18G Growler, an electronic warfare aircraft that replaced the EA-6B Prowler in US Navy service. Both versions share the cockpit shape, so the masks suit Meng’s 1/48 kits of either version.
