Hobby Boss 1/48 F/A-18F Super Hornet is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The Super Hornet F is the two-seat version of the modern carrier combat aircraft. The second crew position extends the glazed canopy, while folding wingtips allow a carrier-stowage configuration.
Clear parts form the two-seat canopy; the photo-etched fret supplies seat belts and harnesses. Fuselage and wings have engraved panel lines, and landing-gear bays are detailed. Model length is 380.4 mm and full wingspan 272.5 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
