1/48 F4F-3 Wildcat one-sided express mask for Eduard
ASK masks from the Express range for the Eduard Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat in 1/48 scale are one-sided. They cover the outside of the windscreen and framed canopy, plus the wheels.
ASK drew up the set itself, targeting the parts of the Eduard F4F-3 Wildcat kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48076 from the SCALE MASK range contains masks 1–19: shaped windscreen masks, rectangular masks for the individual panes of the sliding canopy, a pair of masks numbered 18 and a small round mask 19. The WHEELS section carries four circular wheel masks (L21, M2, M3). The double-sided version is 200-M48077.
The F4F-3 was the first production version of the Grumman Wildcat carrier fighter in US Navy service, still with fixed, non-folding wings and four 0.50 in machine guns. Wildcats of this version defended Wake Island in December 1941. The masks are intended for the Eduard F4F-3 Wildcat kit in 1/48 scale.
