Hobby Boss 1/48 F4U-4 Corsair Late is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The late F4U-4 is distinguished by its revised windscreen with a flat front panel. This release retains the Corsair’s characteristic inverted gull wing.
Eleven grey and one clear sprue provide engine, cockpit, gear bays and separate control surfaces. US Marines decals cover WS18/96845 of VMF-323 aboard USS Sicily in June 1951 and WR13 Alice Special/97208 of VMF-312 aboard USS Bataan in May 1952. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
