Hobby Boss 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat Early is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The early F6F-3 offers two US Navy options: white 2 with the VF-27 cat mouth from USS Princeton in 1944, and white 30 of VF-9 from USS Essex in 1943.
The wings can be built extended or folded, with flaps fitted separately. The radial engine, cockpit seat and instrument panel, and wheel bays are detailed. A drop tank is included; the box contains over 100 parts including clear glazing. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
