1/48 FM-2 Wildcat OVERTREES
Eduard 82205X FM-2 Wildcat OVERTREES 1/48 is a plastic kit of the American carrier-based fighter. The box holds just the plastic sprues, without decals or instructions. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The FM-2 was a Wildcat built by the Eastern Aircraft division of General Motors. It received a more powerful Wright R-1820 engine and a taller fin and was optimised for the small escort carriers, from which it flew until the end of the war. The plastic parts come from the Eduard FM-2 Wildcat kit in 1/48 scale.
Unlike the regular release of the kit, decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are missing here – the box holds just the plastic sprues. Such a package appeals to modellers with their own markings, those building several examples of the same type, or anyone topping up a spares box.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
