Yahu Model 1/48 Heinkel He-51B-1/He-51B-2 is a precision etched kit designed to improve the detail of the cockpit of the Heinkel He-51B kits by Eduard and Roden. The instrument panel is made by etching technology and features a colorful print that faithfully reproduces the look of the original instruments and controls. This eliminates the need to hand paint individual instruments and the result looks realistic even when viewed up close.
The Heinkel He-51 was a German single-seat biplane that served as a Luftwaffe fighter aircraft in the mid-1930s. The B-1 and B-2 versions were production variants with minor design differences. The He-51 participated in the Spanish Civil War in the ranks of the Legion Condor, and by the beginning of World War II was being reassigned to training and ground attack roles, as it was obsolete compared to newer monoplanes.
The add-on is compatible with Eduard and Roden 1:48 scale kits. Installation requires basic experience with etched parts and a suitable adhesive (e.g. instant or photoetch special).
