Eduard 8148X I-16 typ 10 OVERTREES 1/48 is a plastic kit of the Soviet fighter. This OVERTREES set offers the sprues without decals or instructions. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
The Polikarpov I-16 was one of the first production monoplane fighters with a retractable undercarriage. The Type 10 carried four ShKAS machine guns. The I-16 fought in Spain, where it was nicknamed Mosca, and at the start of the Second World War it formed the backbone of the Soviet fighter force. The plastic parts come from the Eduard I-16 typ 10 kit in 1/48 scale.
Eduard OVERTREES are a way to obtain a complete set of plastic sprues of a particular kit. They are released occasionally and only for a limited time. Decals, instructions, photo-etch and masks are not included, so the edition suits modellers with their own markings and instructions or serves as a source of parts for conversions.
Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
