1/48 Marston Mat Landing Strip w/Barrels - Miniart

MiniArt 49019 provides a 1:48 airfield display base: a 315 × 227 mm Marston Mat surface and twelve barrels. The base represents perforated steel planking used to stabilise temporary airfields. The P-47 shown on the packaging illustrates a possible display and is not supplied.

The repeated surface pattern lends itself to dust, wear and rust effects, while the barrels help divide the scene and suggest a working airfield. Check the wingspan and length of the intended aircraft against the base dimensions before choosing a layout. Barrel decals are included; the plastic accessories require assembly and painting.

Paint and cement are not included.
