The Plus Model 1/48 R-60M/MK AA-8 Aphid kit is designed for modelers who want to equip their models of Russian or Soviet aircraft with realistic armament. It contains parts to assemble three R-60 (AA-8 Aphid) missiles, two APU adapters for mounting, and a transport case. The set also includes photo-etched parts and decals that enhance the detail of the finished model.
Since the 1970s, the R-60 missile has been standard armament on many Soviet and Russian fighter and attack aircraft, including the MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-29, and Su-25. This set allows you to faithfully equip 1/48-scale models of these aircraft and enhance their authenticity in a display case or diorama. The aircraft kit is not included in the package.
